The Prison Within, SD-3
My Self Discovery series explores the inner journeys we undertake and invites reflection on the transformative power of love and nature. Through this group, I aim to illuminate the profound impact that love and nature can have.
This Prison Within is composed of a small girl pulling a chain and heart out of a prison cell, which has graffiti words inside like "shame", Isolation" blame". The words and etchings are achieved through the sgraffito method of applying dark grey slip to the item, and carving through the slip to reveal the design.
